# About gojob.now

We build gojob.now for people who need their next job soon. Some lost the last one in a round of layoffs, through no fault of their own. Now they face hundreds of ads and hear nothing back from most of their applications.

## Why we exist

Losing a job is hard enough. Looking for the next one should not turn into a second full-time job of scrolling boards and guessing what each employer pays.

Our mission is to give people that time back. Searching and rewriting is work software can do well. What it cannot do is decide where you want to work or talk to the person hiring you, so that stays with you, with better information than you had before.

## What we do

Right now gojob.now reads 32 job boards and the careers pages of 5,900+ companies, with 419,000+ open jobs in the pool. Some roles are only ever posted on a company's own careers page, so we go there too.

For each job that matches your preferences, gojob.now checks how well it fits your CV and says why. When the ad hides the pay, it gives an estimate from what similar jobs posted. It finds the people behind the role, tailors your CV and drafts a cover letter or a short message when a job is worth it, and keeps every application, interview and follow-up in one place.

## What we will not do

We never apply or send anything on your behalf. You see each application and each message before it goes, and nothing is sent until you press Send yourself. We read public pages only: we never sign in to anyone's LinkedIn or collect data from behind a login.

## Your data

Your CV, notes and pipeline are yours. No other user can see them, and you can download or delete everything from your Account page whenever you like. The details are in our [privacy policy](https://gojob.now/privacy).
