gojob.now for Claude

Connect your gojob.now account to Claude and ask about your own job search: which companies to go for next, how a role fits you, what to learn first. Claude reads your matched jobs, fit scores, companies, job preferences, master CV and Areas to grow. It is read only: it cannot change anything, apply for a job or send a message.

Before you connect

• A gojob.now account with its setup finished (master CV and job preferences). Create one or sign in.
• Claude on the web (claude.ai), Claude Desktop, the Claude mobile apps, or Claude Code.

Add it to Claude

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude apps:

1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it gojob.now and enter the address https://gojob.now/mcp.
3. Claude opens gojob.now: sign in, read what the connector can see, and press Allow.
4. In a chat, turn the gojob.now connector on and ask away.

Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http gojob https://gojob.now/mcp, then open /mcp in Claude Code and choose gojob to sign in the same way.

An MCP client that cannot sign in this way can use a personal token instead: create one in the app under Account, Connect Claude, and send it as Authorization: Bearer.

What to ask

• "Which five companies have the most open Project Manager roles that fit me, and why?"
• "Compare my two best-scoring jobs this week: what does each ask for that my CV does not show?"
• "From my Areas to grow, what should I learn first to reach more of these roles?"
• "Summarise where I stand with the jobs I applied to, and what is still open."

What it can read

• get_profile: Your job preferences (roles, location, work setup, languages, pay, deal-breakers), the profile text the fit checks read, and your master CV.
• get_areas_to_grow: What job ads asked for that your tailored CVs did not show, grouped by theme, most asked first, with the jobs each came from.
• search_jobs: Your job list with fit scores and statuses, filtered like the dashboard: words in the title or company, status, minimum score, how recent.
• get_job: One job: the whole ad, your fit score and its reason, status, notes, history and your contacts there.
• list_companies: The companies behind your matching jobs, grouped: how many jobs each has, how many are still open for you, and the best fit score.
• get_company: One company: its facts and company research, every job seen there with your status and score, your contacts and private notes.

Every tool reads only your own data, the way the app shows it to you; nothing of another user's. Fit scores and Areas to grow come from gojob.now's own checks, not from any employer.

What it cannot do

• Change anything: statuses, notes and CVs stay as they are.
• Apply for a job, or send an email or a LinkedIn message. You apply and send from the app yourself.
• Spend carrots or start a paid action.

Privacy and disconnecting

What Claude reads goes to Anthropic under your own agreement with them; gojob.now keeps the name of the connected app, when you allowed it and when it last read, and a log line per tool call without its content. The privacy policy has the details. Disconnect any time in the app under Account, Connect Claude (or remove the connector in Claude); it stops at once. An app you have not used for 30 days is disconnected by itself.
