Who is responsible
gojob.now is run by Andrii Zarudnyi, Wroclaw, Poland (the "controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). For anything about your data, write to a.zarudnyi@outlook.com.
What we store about you
- Your account: the email address, name and profile picture your Google account shares when you sign in, when you joined and when you last signed in.
- What you give us to work with: your master CV, your profile and job preferences, your job matching rules, and earlier versions of these so you can undo an edit.
- Your job search: the status, notes, pay notes and fit scores of the jobs in your list, your "interested / not interested" feedback, companies you hid, CVs made for a job (as PDF files), and outreach drafts.
- Your mailbox, only if you connect Outlook: access tokens (stored encrypted), so the app can save drafts, send an email when you press Send and confirm, and show your email history with a contact.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs (for example IP address and time of a request) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, only your email address, plus a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to stop repeated sign-ups. We use it for one email when your place opens.
People in your job search (recruiters and hiring managers)
To help you reach the right person, gojob.now stores work contact details about people at hiring companies: their name, job title, company, work location, LinkedIn profile address and work email address. They come from the job ad itself, from what you type in, or from professional data providers (Crustdata for people at a company, Hunter for work email addresses). We only keep work-related details.
These contacts are private to the user who found or added them: no other user sees them. If you are one of these people and want your details removed, or want to know what is stored about you, write to a.zarudnyi@outlook.com and we will act on it within a month.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service you signed up for (finding and matching jobs, fit scores, tailored CVs, drafts, your pipeline): performance of our agreement with you, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
- Contact details of people at hiring companies: our and our users' legitimate interest in professional networking about a specific job, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). We limit this to work details and honour objections.
- Security, preventing abuse, and keeping the service running: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f).
- Waitlist: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Job boards (justjoin.it, No Fluff Jobs, Remotive, We Work Remotely, Indeed) are only read: we never send them your data.
How long we keep it
- Account data, until you delete your account (Account page, "Your data"). Deleting removes it from the live database straight away.
- Contacts and drafts, until you delete them or your account, or until the person asks us to remove them.
- Waitlist emails, until your place opens and we write to you, or until you ask us to remove yours.
- Server logs, as long as our hosting provider keeps them for security.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, and take it with you in a machine-readable form. Most of this you can do yourself on the Account page: Download my data gives you everything in one file, and Delete my account removes it. For anything else, write to a.zarudnyi@outlook.com.
You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzedu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl), or to the authority where you live.
Automated scoring
Fit scores are written by an AI model from your profile and the job ad. They are suggestions for you only: nothing is decided or sent automatically, and no employer sees them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, for signed-in users, in the app.
